SUSTAINABILITY & PLANET ROO
Respect for our surroundings isn't just a responsibility felt at Bonnaroo; it's a core value of who we want to be. That's why since day one on the farm, we’ve worked our tails off in pursuit of responsible sustainability practices.
To us, sustainability goes beyond taking care of the environment. It includes civil rights for all, creating safe spaces and equality for every human, encouraging the practices of healthy communities, and more. The world is not sustainable if a person's voice is not heard, their environment is not healthy, or their human rights denied.
From festival-wide policies to impact programming in Planet Roo, we believe we can change the world with our platform of positivity and education.
The goal of Planet Roo is to provide an active and engaging space for Bonnaroo's over 80,000 patrons to learn about sustainability and social impact initiatives. In an effort to expand the scope of sustainability, we will continue with our theme of healthy communities encompassing civil rights, food access, economy, environment, health, and culture.
